St. Mary Land & Exploration was founded in 1908 and incorporated in 1915 whose main office is located in Denver, Colorado is engaged primarily in the search, development, acquisition and production of natural gas and crude oil in the United States. St. Mary’s vast and rich history of how they have evolved into a gas giant worked on producing more with the least amount of underlying resources. This resulted to a return on equity to stockholders and paid cash dividends to them. The Company’s established reserves totals to 1,086.50 billion cubic feet of gas that could suffice production ratio of ten years. Executives of St. Mary have concentrated their investments in purchasing and acquiring land that would assure the company’s potential to earn more. US lands rich in natural resources, they began looking and searching for land areas including the Gulf Coast of Louisiana which they purchased at $11,000 followed by a total of additional 7,200 acres of lands for draining and mining. It was a good thing, they were able to foresee the purchasing of both the minerals and surface rights for these lands. St. Mary’s net income has been increasing steadily for the past five years and will continue to be in the next three years. Every since 1941, St. Mary has been paying cash dividends to stockholders. But after the mid-60’s, they felt that they have to put up more assets for bigger growth in the coming years. So they began exploring the Mid-Continent together with their partners and have increased their ties with other company’s thus increasing their portfolio which created more opportunities for growth. When St. Mary was opened to the public by offering common stock, they were able to collect and raise enough capital that provided liquidity for family stockholders. And since then, they have been giving dividends and stock price appreciation to its stockholders. Don’t have the money to invest, that’s ok, just get a signature loan, even if you have bad credit.
